Kuraldal sa Sasmuan Pampanga

Matapos ang maghapong trabaho....nagpunta kaming mag-asawa sa Sta. Lucia Sasmuan para sa Kuraldal. Kasama namin ang kapatid ko. Dahil first time.... di man kami excited... 6:30pm andun na kami...8:00pm pa lang pala ang simula ng misa. Hay! Sabi nila, kung gusto daw magkaanak...sumayaw sa kuraldal.  Kuraldal is celebrated every January 6 in honour of the town's patron saint, Santa Lucia. This saint is believed to help not only the blind but women who wish to have fertility and to bear children. Kuraldal Atlung Ari will end with a bang on January 10, the evening of the "kawakasan" (ending). The mass was officiated by Most Rev. Archbishop Paciano B. 2012 Giant Lantern Festival

I live in pampanga....i work in San Fernando area....everyday nasa san fernando ako....kung kailan pa naman last day ng giant lantern exhibition, dun pa lang ako nanood. usually sa mismong contest, nanood lang ako sa tv..mas maganda kasi naka focus yung screen sa parol. Saka maraming tao sa robinsons sa mismong contest. kaya nagpunta na lang kami sa last day. Giant Lantern Festival (Ligligan Parul) is an annual festival held in December. Dahil sa katanyagan nito, tinaguriang "Christmas Capital of the Philippines" ang San Fernando. 11 barangays participated the 104th Ligligan Parul. Barangay Del Pilar claimed the Champion trophy and giant check of P 120,000, while Brgy. Telabastagan and San Jose received the P 60,000 and P 40,000...
