Dreams Do Come True at Hongkong Disneyland

We were so excited with our day 3 itinerary.... 

Whole day in Disneyland.

We took the MTR to Tung Chung and alighted at Sunny Bay Station. There is a special Disney train that will take you to the happiest place on earth.

Because we were so excited, we were there at around 8am and the park opens at 10am. We spent the rest of the time taking pictures while listening to dreamy Disney music playing on the speakers.

At around 9:45am, there is a long queue already at the entrance. 

Hello Disneyland!

The theme park is compose of 7 areas, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point and Main Street USA.

1. Adventureland - A tribute to the wilds of nature. It is stated that there are 5 attractions in Adventureland. We only went to Tarzans Tree House riding the raft. Unfortunately, the Festival of Lion King is under renovation.

2. Grizzly Gulch - opened last July 2012, it offers high-spirited frontier fun in an abandoned mining town called Grizzly Gulch, set amidst mountains and woods. Ride the coaster ride that went through the "mountains" and went backwards at one point of time.

3.  Mystic Point - It is set in a dense, uncharted rain forest surrounded by mysterious forces and supernatural events. The site features Mystic Manor, a Haunted Mansion style attraction with a trackless ride system. This is exclusive in HK Disneyland.

 4. Toy Story Land - all the toys of Andy are all here....larger than life!

5. Fantasyland - the land where Disney stories come alive. Here we can meet Disney Princesses and other characters at the fantasy garden. The Cinderella Carousel and the Sleeping Beauty Castle is also in this area. Another fun attraction is The Golden Mickey and the Mickey's PhilharMagic
.

6. Tomorrowland - discover the thrill of space exploration on an indoor rollercoaster and battle aliens with Buzz Lightyear.

7. Mainstreet USA - extends from the Park Entrance at Hong Kong Disneyland all the way to Sleeping Beauty Castle. This is the route of the daily Flights of Fantasy Parade, and is a good place to watch the Disney in the Stars Fireworks every night with the Castle in the background. We also met the famous mouse couple here.

We didn't have the chance to watch the fireworks display because of heavy rain. So sad!

In every location, there are many dining areas where you can select delectable menus that include authentic Chinese dishes and American cuisine. 

We ate at Starliner Diner in Tomorrowland. We ordered the classic American-style fried chicken for HK$85.

You can also grab some quick bites at outdoor kiosk.
