Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, Ilocos Norte's Historical Landmark

Located in the town of Burgos, Cape Bojeador lighthouse is one of Ilocos Norte's Historical Landmark. Standing 66ft tall, the lighthouse served as guide merchant ships like Spanish Galleons during the Spanish Colonial Period. It was built on March 30, 1892.


He didn't have the chance to explore the lighthouse because some parts were under renovations. The old pavilion was transformed into a museum.



Cape Bojeador Lighthouse was declared a National Historical Landmark on August 13, 2004 and a National Cultural Treasure on June 20, 2005 by the Philippine Government.






You can also buy some refreshments and some souvenirs at the parking lot.
