Binibining Wanderlust
Finding an affordable accommodation is not that easy lalo na at marami kami. And accommodations in Singapore does not come cheap. When I firsts scout for hotel they were so expensive and prices are not reasonable for us. We rather spend much on food than in hotel. Ang imporante lang naman ay may matutulugan at maliliguan. At first, I inquired about hostels but some of them doesn't accept children under 12 and they do not have private CR. Someone recommended Mitraa inn and good thing they are family hostel that accepts kids.

We checked-in at around 2:00pm. If you will arrive earlier than their standard check-in time, you have to pay extra $10. The rate given to us is $30/person/night with free breakfast. And our room comes with private CR. For rates check this.

They also have microwave oven to reheat your food.
You can borrow some books and DVD.
The hallway is very clean and it smells nice. They also sell some cold beverages.
If you don't know where to go, they posted the suggested walking tours. You can also ask their friendly receptionist for directions and tips.

See the bed? They are big enough for single person and very comfortable. Everything in this hostel was clean and well maintained.
Free Breakfast is provided every morning that consists of toast with variety of spreads, eggs, fruits, biscuits, coffee & tea.
For budget travelers who are looking for accommodation in Singapore, I recommend Mitraa Inn @ Serangoon.
